Fire Australia Speakers to Discuss the Industry’s Big Issues

With less than a month to Fire Australia 2017, Australia’s premier event in fire and life safety, expectation is growing with a full Conference program and the biggest tradeshow of its kind.

Keynote speakers:

  • Jim Pauley (pictured top) President and CEO of the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA USA) discussing international leadership in fire protection standards development and research
  • Stephen Kip (pictured left) Director Skip Consulting will ask whether our performance-based fire safety codes are doomed to failure?
  • Neil Savery (pictured middle) General Manager Australian Building Codes Board will provide an update on the Board’s strategy and initiatives
  • Andrew Battye (pictured right) Manager Dangerous Goods & Explosives Team, SafeWork NSW asks whether a trusting relationship with regulators is good for businesses managing the risk of hazardous chemicals in the workplace?

As well as the Conference’s largest Tradeshow ever staged, the Fire Australia Charity Dinner, sponsored by Chubb, will this year benefit the Fiona Wood Foundation and their research into burns treatment. This will be another great night for a good cause and this year features entertainment from one of Australia’s leading funnymen and entertainers Anh Do whose credits include everything from Rove Live to Dancing with the Stars.
