The Fire Engineering team at the University of Central Lancashire (UCLan) have an international reputation for the delivery of “world class” programmes in the area of Fire Safety Engineering and Management. As a consequence, UCLan is the choice educational provider to provide educational programmes at the Ras Laffan Emergency and Safety College based in Qatar. The college is a purpose built facility with state-of-the-art facilities to provide training and education in the areas of fire safety and civil defence.
We are seeking suitably qualified individuals who have either experience of delivering academic programmes or have vocational experience in the areas of fire science/engineering and emergency and crisis management to deliver UCLan programmes in Qatar on a consultant basis. We are particularly interested in hearing from applicants with experience of fire modelling and computational fluid dynamics or fire protection systems. We are also interested in hearing from suitably qualified applicants who can contribute to an Advanced Diploma in Emergency and Crisis Management.
