Bringing together over 500 leading representatives from fire, police, ambulance, emergency, rescue, volunteer, defence and health sectors, the Australian & New Zealand Disaster and Emergency Management Conference will welcome delegates to the Star, Gold Coast from the 21 – 22 May 2018.
Now in its seventh year, the Conference continues to grow in both size and reputation, evolving into the premium event of its type, facilitating professional development and the exchange of current ideas and practices between emergency and disaster management practitioners from Australia and New Zealand and further afield.
As an added benefit to attendees the Conference will be held in conjunction with the Australian & New Zealand Search and Rescue Conference on the 23 May 2018 at the Star Gold Coast. This partnership offers attendees to extend their learnings on the evolution and future direction of search and rescue in the region, while exploring developments in technology that are challenging traditional assumptions of how search and rescue is conducted.
In addition to the educational program, the Conference exhibition features over 30 exhibitors displaying the latest products and services in the disaster and emergency management sector.
With the ever-increasing nature of large-scale disasters and emergencies impacting our communities and a renewed focus on catastrophic planning, the Australian & New Zealand Disaster Management Conference has become one of the most significant calendar events for the disaster and emergency community.
