Navid Bayat is a professional firefighter in Tehran Fire Department (TFD). He joined Fire & Rescue Service in 2003. He started his career as a firefighter in fire stations and as time elapsed, he gained experience in fire and rescue operations under the supervision and command of competent commanders. Then, in 2011, following the needs of the organization, he was transferred to the Tehran International Fire & Rescue Training Center as an English-Persian interpreter for different special courses in various levels which were conducted by some foreign instructors. He also served as a training instructor of a number of different training courses for 3 years. He has been currently the head of international affairs of Tehran Fire Department and an advisor to the CEO of the organization with respect to international relations. With regard to academic and educational status, he holds a B.A. and an M.A. in Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL).
