Australia at the end of August, alongside its distributor Pac Fire. The largest emergency management conference and exhibition in Australasia welcomed over 2,300 emergency management personnel from Australia and world-wide.

Bristol took the opportunity to showcase its wide range of products on the Pac Fire stand, demonstrating its Wildland firefighting garments with Eco Dry Shield fabric from Hainsworth, Technical Rescue clothing with GORE® PYRAD® fabric technology utilising W L Gore’s Varde, and its specialist Urban Search and Rescue (USAR) range featuring high visibility flame-resistant fabric from Kermel.

Finally, Bristol exhibited bespoke garments supplied to Air Services Australia and Australia
Defence, as well as those soon to be supplied to Broadspectrum.

afac-pac-6According to Paul Gibson, International Sales Manager at Bristol Uniforms, the exhibition proved an excellent opportunity to further cement relationships with key personnel from the Fire Services industry in Australasia:

“The AFAC16 show was a great success for us. We had a very busy few days meeting customers, suppliers and end-users, and were also fortunate to meet with representatives and leaders from the Australian Standards Committee and a number of the International Standards Committees, helping us to keep abreast of latest developments and gain further insight into the Australasian market”
