Bronto Skylift is a division of Morita Holdings Japan.
Bronto Skylift Australia/New Zealand is the local representative for Bronto Skylift Oy Ab with an association that goes back to 1991 enabling us to provide our customers a sound knowledge base in the application and design of all the models that Bronto Skylift has to offer. The latest models FL45XR and FL60XR and the newly released F28ALR aerial/pumper concept all share the most up to date Bronto 5+ control system providing the most capable, smoothest, most stable operating platforms in their class.
There are currently 75 Bronto’s in operating in the Emergency Services in Australia and New Zealand with each of the mainland metropolitan brigades as well as the Victorian Country Fire Authority operating fleets in the 17m to 45m range. The most recent addition has been the FL45XR delivered to Darwin for the Northern Territory Fire and Rescue Service in December 2017 which features 45m operating height, 26.5m outreach, 500kg cage load with the largest cage in the market and 4000lpm monitor mounted on a Scania P410 8×4 chassis. It is also fitted with a split-shaft pto drive Darley PSM1500 pump rated at 6000lpm@1000kpa.
The just released F28ALR (pictured above and below) has been developed to meet the needs of metropolitan brigades requiring a GP Pumper with standard pumper stowage, water and foam tanks on board and a substantial aerial platform capability. The F28ALR certainly meets their expectations with a 28m operating height, 350kg cage load at 20m outreach, 3500lpm monitor and the largest cage for this type of unit.
Our after sales structure has improved substantially with Access Services Australia coming on board with workshop facilities along the eastern seaboard. A resident fully qualified Bronto trainer also enables us to be able to provide much improved access to on going training requirements.
We can look forward to the opportunities of the future with the knowledge that the continuous development of world class apparatus is an inbuilt culture for Bronto Skylift.
