An 80 kilometre grass fire which stared on the Mongolian side of the China-Mongolia boarder is now being fought by Chinese firefighters.
Over 50 Chinese firefighting specialists have worked hard to get a wildfire on grassland under control before putting it out in the China’s Inner Mongolian Autonomous Region in the early hours of Saturday.
The unique thing about this fire is the use of high powered leaf blowers to extinguish the fire.
Chinese firefighters have been perfecting the use of leaf blowers for use in areas where water supplies are limited.
