E2S Warning Signals at the Tehran Oil and Gas Show

As the normalisation of relations with Iran gathers pace, the 21st Iranian Oil and Gas Show, to be held from 05 to 08 May 2016, has generated huge international interest in the sector. E2S Warning Signals, the world’s leading independent manufacturer of audible and visual warning devices for onshore and offshore hazardous area use, will be exhibiting at the show. The E2S stand focuses on explosion proof and intrinsically safe warning signals developed to meet the challenging needs of the offshore and onshore oil and gas industry. Vision Arta Safe, E2S’s Iranian distribution partner, will be previewing the new ‘STEx’ stainless steel alarm horn sounders, beacons and combo units and demonstrating the new ‘GNEx’ beacons, the latest addition to the GRP corrosion-resistant family of alarm horns, call points and beacons, www.e2s.com/products/range/gnex. Also on show are the ‘D2x’, ‘D1x’ and ‘E2x’ families and other products from the E2S portfolio of more than 250 different models. Colin Tan, Regional Manager for E2S, will be attending to support Vision Arta Safe personnel on the stand.

The ‘STEx’ family featuring 316L enclosures and approved to IECEx and ATEX standards, will be suitable for the most challenging of environments. The ‘GNEx’ beacons are IECEx and ATEX approved for Zone 1, 2, 21 and 22 hazardous location applications. The ‘D1x’ family are approved for Class I/II Division 1, Zone 1 and Zone 20 environments. The compact, high performance ‘D2x’ units and ‘E2x’ are UL, cULs, ATEX & IECEx Div 2 and Zone 2 approved alarm horns and combination signals. ‘E2x’ units are recently been approved for Zone 2, 22 applications to the latest IECEx and ATEX standards in addition to its existing Class I & II Division 2 UL and cULs approvals.

“We are looking forward to participating in the show for the first time; with Iran’s oil output increasing rapidly, we welcome the opportunity to engage with the industry at this exciting time” said Colin Tan, Regional Manager for E2S.
