Last week, an out-of-control truck ploughed into 31 cars in northwest China killing 15 people and injuring 44, said authorities in the city of Lanzhou. The traffic accident was at Lanzhou south toll station of Lanzhou-Haikou expressway in northwest China’s Gansu Province.
The accident occurred as the driver of the heavy-duty articulated truck lost control on a downhill stretch of the expressway and collided with cars lining up at a toll booth.
