One of the most important conferences in the fire protection industry calendar, Fire Australia 2022 will be returning to Melbourne on 3-5 May, 2022.
The first Australian National Conference on Fire was held on 23-26 August 1965, in Melbourne. Presented by The Australian Fire Protection Association, now known as Fire Protection Association Australia (FPA Australia), the conference was chaired by Harry W. Marryatt and included panel sessions, industry and regulatory updates, and key fire protection presentations across a range of topics.
Fire Australia has evolved over the years and now attracts 2000+ attendees, providing access to key professional development, networking opportunities, the ability to learn from key fire protection and safety industry experts and connect with over 80+ local and international Tradeshow exhibitors, showcasing hundreds of industry leading products and services.
This three-day event brings together leading presenters from Australia and overseas, offering some of the most up-to-date and inspiring content, highlighting innovative solutions to the industry’s challenges, and showcasing an impressive array of new services and technology.
Our program will again be offering different streams of content, from the political to the practical, giving delegates an opportunity to learn new things and earn CPD points in the process. Cap off your attendance by taking part in one of our revealing and informative off-site tours. Once again, our Tradeshow Hall will showcase some of the best fire protection solutions the industry has to offer. Our exhibitors will be delighted to demonstrate their innovations, and explain how they will help you and your business.
This year, the Fire Australia Conference and Awards Gala Dinner will be held in the Palladium at Crown, where we will celebrate the best in the fire protection industry. It will be an evening full of entertainment, unexpected surprises, and opportunities to share a drink and network with your industry colleagues.
2022 offers a great chance to start afresh, after two years of lockdowns, restrictions, and vaccinations. Get yourself back on track and join us in Melbourne in May for Fire Australia 2022!
Kind Regards, Robert (Bob) Grieve, President, FPA Australia
