Over Memorial Day Weekend (29–31 May 2021), a tragic car accident occurred in Boca Raton. Three teens and two adults were killed as a result, leaving many family members and friends distraught. Two of the teen victims were just 13 years old, and a 12 year old was seriously injured in the crash. Emergency services arrived on the scene, but it took longer for family members to be alerted of the situation.
That’s where Emergency Info Plan comes in.
John Pastore, the company’s founder, developed his idea after losing his wife. She had called 911, but John was not contacted until much later, which was a mistake as he could have been helping the medics with her condition.
First, there is a simple two-minute assessment to help others determine just how prepared they are in an emergency. The Emergency Info Plan also explains how people can use their iPhone or Android as both an emergency alert device to notify contacts and as a medical ID that provides EMS personnel access to critical medical information for better onsite treatment.
The Emergency Info Plan is senior friendly and easy to use; the plan starts with Emergency Alert Stickers for the communication device, the home and car, so those who come to a person’s aid will see that they are prepared and can take immediate life-saving action.
About Emergency Info Plan
Emergency Info Plan turns your iPhone or Android into a life-saving device with its Apple Medical ID Tutorial and official Android app. After not being alerted by 911 when his wife was in an emergency, Founder John Pastore decided to bring awareness to emergency preparedness by creating the Emergency Medical ID app and the Emergency Alert Sticker. The Emergency Alert Sticker can be placed on one’s phone, car, or home, which gives first responders access to vital medical information and notifies emergency contacts immediately. About John Pastore
John is a resident of Boca Raton, FL and is a seasoned financial planner who founded the Pastore Financial Group that serves clients in over 30 different states. He remains active within that company. He is an advocate for being prepared for emergencies and founded Emergency Info Plan LLC. A tragic incident in his life inspired him to do this. While he was on a business trip in Vermont, his wife Elaine Lerner, called 911 from their home in Long Island. He wasn’t notified until 40 minutes later when his neighbour called him. She sadly passed away that day.
Using modern technology on iPhones and a universal app his company developed for Androids, 911 and emergency contacts can be alerted when emergencies occur. When first responders arrive they can access vital medical information on the phones at the scene. Seconds count when you have an emergency. John says: ‘If I had been alerted, I could have helped them get in the home faster and provided information to first responders.’
John and his partner Matt Melton are using their innovative approach to help families in Florida and throughout the United States. Their Emergency Alert Stickers for phones, cars and phones show those coming to your aid that you are prepared.
