T-Gen2 is powerful, feature packed, yet easily configured to suit almost any installation requirement.
Johnson Controls’ VIGILANT® fire detection product range continues to be at the forefront of development with the release of the ActivFire listed T-Gen2 Grade 2 and Grade 3 EWS compliant with the latest AS4428.16 2015 Australian Standard and ActivFire listed. The T-Gen2 Grade 3 is a self-contained Emergency Warning System (EWS) with a wide range of functions and optional modules, ideally suited for small to large-sized single zone evacuation systems.
The T-Gen2 Grade 2 EWS is designed for larger installations and is capable of controlling up to 20 evacuation zones with independent alert and evacuation warning tones, emergency public address functions and complex cascading, to assist in safely guiding building occupants in an emergency situation.
Two choices of amplifier sizes, D-Class 60W or 120W are at the heart of the Grade 3 and Grade 2 EWS, which can operate independently per zone or combined in a master slave configuration for higher power outputs. Optional 100V Splitter or Switching Modules provide short-circuit isolated outputs to different floors or can be configured to control several smaller zones, making the T-Gen2 system the ideal choice for small to large buildings.
“Johnson Controls has brought leading edge innovation to the Emergency Warning System market in Australia and New Zealand” said Dwayne Kuipers, Senior Product Manager, Fire Detection, and Johnson Controls. “The new Vigilant T-Gen2 has on board digitized messages which can be prerecorded or set up on site for many applications, such as evacuation direction, drills, testing or lockdown situations. The emergency public address microphone and optional paging consoles provide further flexibility to suit many types of buildings. The T-Gen2 Grade 3 or Grade 2 solution can be offered as part of a Vigilant® or Simplex® fire detection panel or as an independent Emergency Warning System.”
