GESA (Global Emergency Services Action) is an international non-profit organization that works with Emergency Services practitioners, consultants and equipment manufacturers to promote quality Emergency Services (ES) around the world.
Our latest project looks at the world of donations – donations of equipment, turnout gear, vehicles, rescue tools, SCBA, etc. While many departments and communities in developing countries receive donations each year, we know that the process can be long and inefficient. Discussions with GESA’s Global South Advisory Council (AC) have identified a series of common sticking points within the existing donations ecosystem and some real opportunities to better serve our community – improving process velocity, better matching of donor products with community need, and including training and maintenance for donations.
Working with the AC, GESA has developed a five-minute survey where global practitioners and experts can share their experiences with equipment donations. Please contribute your voice as we work to create new tools and approaches to build a more efficient and resilient donations pipeline and to get more equipment, more efficiently to ES departments and communities around the world.

With your help, we can make the world safer for everyone to grow and develop!
